Introduction

Templates 1-4 give you the opportunity to add a subtle background pattern to your parish website. Pattern images are 400 x 400 in pixel dimensions, no more than 5 KB in file size, and are saved as PNGs with a transparent background. This article will teach you how to edit the background pattern on your website. 

Editing your background pattern

1. Click on the gears icon  in the top right-hand side of your page and select Configuration from the menu. 
2. On the System Configuration page be sure that you have the Site tab selected at the top of your page. 
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Website Background Pattern section. 
4. Click the Insert button.
5. In the file window provided, select the patterns folder in the file list to view the available images.

6. Click the plus button [+] below the desired image to insert it as a background pattern. This will close the file window and return you to the main screen. 

7. Click the green Save button at the top of the page to commit your change to your website.
