Why is my Live Stream Buffering?

On slower connections, a short buffering period is normal to the start of a live broadcast video stream. The buffering gives a cushion to the video so that it will play without interruption.

If you are seeing buffering regularly pop up when you are watching a live stream, you may be having trouble with your computer or with your internet connection. The most common cause of buffering issues is the internet connection. The second leading cause of video playback issues are due to insufficient hardware.
